That one Jaguar fan, iupuijagsfan, came against some of the Jag bashing by saying that The Jaguars have the largest enrollment and best facilities in the league. He's totally wrong on the facilities part. I'll give them the Natatorium and that's it! UIC has the best baseball facility. IUPUI doesn't have one. NKU, arguably has the best basketball facility, followed closely by Wright State. IUPUI has "The Jungle", which seats 1215. They don't own the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Bigger (seating 12,000) doesn't equate to being the best, so I'll give the best soccer facility to NKU. I don't particularly care for a soccer field with a track surrounding it. They are down the ladder when it comes to softball facilities as well. So again, the only thing IUPUI had going for it was location and academics.

IUPUI now plays in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, which was renovated before they moved in back in 2015. It's considerably better than the Jungle, and one of the better facilities in the conference. As a whole, our conference is largely in facilities that are too big for their programs. This is true for everyone outside of Oakland and maybe YSU. I generally prefer the MKE/NKU/WSU way of leaving it all open rather than the CSU/UIC method of curtaining off space. But all in all we're in buildings that are too big for 2017 mid-major college basketball. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using proboards

My point to iupuijagsfan was that for all of his throwing in our faces about IUPUI having the best facilities, they don't!!! IUPUI doesn't OWN the Colesium, neither do they OWN a baseball field. The soccer stadium, although large, is a mess and almost an eyesore...so how can they have the best facilities?

I personally don't care if a school owns or just has access to their facilities. With that said I don't think IUPUI has anything other than the best pool.
NKU and GB play in modern buildings that are very nicely appointed. Milwaukee plays in a very well maintained and updated building. All of those are better than what IUPUI has access to. The building at Oakland isn't great for amenities but it can get very load in there. Really only YSU and UDM are down on the quality of their current buildings.
Speaking only for GB but they are about to do major work on a soccer facility and their women's hoops and volleyball do play in the best buildings in the league for those sports (Kress Events Center).
