What do you think Big DSWU? 8-5? 7-6?

NKU just sent out their season ticket renewals and in the letter they said while the coaching staff is still working on finalizing the schedule that there are home games against Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky on the schedule.

I like Nagy as well. I think he and John Brannen are the two best coaches in the HL followed by Linc Darner.

He is like 1-4 or 1-5 in the HL tournament since Oakland has been in the HL. He's not going to get a ton of respect if he loses in the first round of the HL tournament almost every year. Fair enough. That stat makes me cringe. So embarrassing. We have underachieved in the HL tourney consistently. As a fan\alum I consistently try not to remember that stat. It's painful. I think this year should be the 1 where we burst through.

Still waiting on Cleveland State, Northern Kentucky, UIC, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and IUPUI. We do have 10 of CSU's games, though. udtitanbasketball.freeforums.net/post/7055. Only about 40% of schools have released non-conference schedules, so the Horizon isn't really behind. Right now the two best non-conference games are hands down the Michigan State-Oakland/Michigan-Detroit doubleheader at Little Ceasar's Arena. In-state, Big 10 rivals on a neutral floor closer to both Horizon campuses than either Big 10 campus. It's looking more and more like there won't be a single "power" team appearing on a Horizon home court this year, unless one wants to count DePaul, which may play at UIC.

A milestone is passed--more than half the D-I schools have released their non-conference schedules. Still just 4 in the HL: Oakland, Detroit, Youngstown, and Wright State. But we know opponents and dates for 10 Cleveland State games and 8 from Milwaukee and UIC. About half of Green Bay's non-conference schedule is in. Of course, we're still waiting on the HL to announce the conference schedule. I assume that the late addition of IUPUI might have caused some delay. Non-Con schedule info for all teams is collected here: udtitanbasketball.freeforums.net/post/7055

Milwaukee released its non-conference schedule today. Highlights include a home game with Loyola (yes, our old friends whom used to be on the schedule every year, now in the more highly acclaimed Missouri Valley and one of the favorites to win it this year) and a road game at Wisconsin. udtitanbasketball.freeforums.net/post/7055

Today we reached the two-thirds mark--234 of 351 Division 1 schools have released full non-conference schedules. Only 5 of the 10 Horizon teams have done so, but I expect more to roll out soon. But probably not UIC, which placed an ad today on Basketball Travelers looking to start a home and home series this fall. Green Bay put an ad on the site last Friday, so they've apparently got some work to do, too. Northern Kentucky advertised on August 10, looking for a home game for a "small guarantee."

NKU has just released their schedule. The home and home against ETSU is a nice touch this year. The marquee matchups being against Memphis and Texas A&M and some good mid majors playing in the Bahamas Showcase. All in all this seems like a schedule that should allow NKU to post a solid winning season but does have some tough games mixed in their. nkunorse.com/news/2017/9/6/mens-basketball-nkunorsembb-announces-2017-18-schedule.aspx

Only IUPUI is missing. Only 6 of their opponents are known. At this point I am doubting they are part of any MTE.
