As I peruse member message boards of the HL, I'm finding a disturbing trend: an increasing negativity as it pertains to the HL. I don't understand the disdain. Butler left the league over a year ago with the HL doing nothing about it at the time. There was probably a need for concern, but the HL did finish as the 12th rated league in the land (the HL finished 14th with Butler). Now Loyola has exited with LeCrone and the Board seemingly idle with their thumbs up their collective @?!)/ The consensus is that the League is even better without Loyola.
Let's stop with the negativism, sarcasm, lambasting and out and out vitriol and hope that each HL school aggressively recruits, wins and become more unified as a league. The Horizon is still a pretty good league. Stop talking about leaving!
LeCrone can only do so much and even with that, only what he's allowed to do.

Now that Oakland is in, most people have shut up.

Well, some on the Detroit board are still not quite adjusting to it as of yet. They're now laying blame at the feet of their President, the trustees or the Titan Club.

The Titan Club? What could they possibly have done?

That's just it. They're saying that they haven't done enough. They want them to become more involved, maybe put pressure on the trustees to heed to or at least consider some of what the fans see as important to athletics and therefore the University.
