We're in the offseason and the only thing going on right now is recruiting, commitments and signings. So I'm gonna give my Preseason '20-'21 poll.
***SPOILER ALERT...I'M A HOMER*** Of course I have the right to change when all commitments are in and I've taken the time to read up on the returning players, transfers and freshmen. Right now though, here we go!
1. UIC 2. Cleveland State 3. Wright State 4. Northern Kentucky 5. Youngstown State 6. Fort Wayne 6. Oakland 8. Green Bay 8. Milwaukee 10. Detroit 11. IUPUI

I'll bite. Haven't done much research on new recruits, so this is just going from last years knowledge.
1. WSU - Love's final year. Basile and Holden will give them a tough interior. A team with good guard play will probably be their best challenge. 2. YSU - Quisenberry will be an early favorite for MVP. He had a decent improvement from freshman to soph year. If he can find consistency at a high level, YSU will have one of their best years ever. 3. Green Bay - Amari Davis comes back averaging almost 16 points a game as a freshman. Linc always finds a way to make his roster work. 4. NKU - Darrin Horn proved he can win with a good roster put together by mostly someone else. Now this is becoming more of his team after losing a lot of graduates and Jalen Tate transferring. 5. Cleveland - Dennis 2.0 proved he can coach a team in dissaray to almost a .500 record. If he can recruit as well as he can coach, the team will improve. I think it's still an uphill battle as teams can't be as bad as they were last year....can they? 6. Detroit - Antoine Davis has to find a 2nd consistent threat to open him up on the floor. With APR ban's behind them Mike Davis has got to find a way to start making this team win. 7. UIC - UIC has put together a top notch coaching staff that i think will make them a competitive team. I think it will take a year to build cohesion with so many new players coming in. 8. Purdue Fort Wayne - Coffman has struggled with this team recently, so he'll be looking to find a footing in the new league. I think they can win on any given night, but finding consistency will still be hard for this team. 9. Oakland - Trying to put this team is like playing darts. Kampe's record has always been everywhere through his coaching career, so this team will sure jump around in rankings closer to next season. 10. Milwaukee - I don't see much for this team to improve upon early on. They picked up 3 wins from the prior year 11. IUIPUI - I'm guessing they are going to run with their current interim coach? This team doesn't seem to have a plan for next year, and with the whole virus, it might be a good idea to cut costs atm, but i can't imagine this being a winning formula for success.

With the addition of Robert Morris and basically the finalization of team rosters, here are my adjusted picks for the '20-'21 season.
1. Wright State Raiders- Nagy is still top dog and he's recruiting his type of players. The Raiders also have the reigning HL POY in Louden Love.
2. Youngstown State Penguins- Coach Calhoun is showing that YSU made the right decision in hiring him. Has the players now to run his type of system.
3. UIC Flames- New coach. New system. 6 new players, which includes 4-star Iowa State Transfer Zion Griffin. Will be an experienced team with the influx of transfers, 4-year and JUCO alike. Under Coach Yaklich, defense will be the key.
3. Cleveland State Vikings- Coach Gates reversed the curse of finishing a predicted last in the conference and then when out and recruited the best class in the HL. Only their youth keeps them from finishing higher.
5. Green Bay Phoenix- Green Bay let Coach Darner go with a nice recruiting class. With Darner's firing some recruits left. Amari Davis decided to stick it out and John Jefferson, who was in the portal, decided to come back as well. There's some talk that the Phoenix may have the best backcourt in the League.
6. Northern Kentucky Norse- Coach Horn will have to prove his coaching chops this season as former coach John Brannen's players are almost gone. They are in for a fall off. Not because they will be that bad, but because the HL will be tougher.
7. Robert Morris Colonials- New team in the Horizon coming off a Northeastern Conference tournament championship with a good head coach who has 10+ years of steering this program in the right direction. Probably need a couple bigs to bang throughout the HL season. They'll probably surprise and win a game or two they weren't expected to win.
8. Purdue Fort Wayne- Another new team in the conference. The move to the HL will help this team greatly. No more tired, dead legs from so much long distance, cross-region traveling. Coach Jon Coffman is a pretty decent coach. His teams have knocked off Indiana in back-to-back years. One of those years the Hoosiers were ranked #3. Although they play HL teams every season, conference play will be a bit different.
9. Oakland Golden Grizzlies- The Grizz had so many transfers, it's hard to really get a read on this team. They'll just have to bear it this season!
10.Milwaukee Panthers- This actually could be Coach Pat Baldwin's swan song season. I believe the Milwaukee administration is waiting on Pat Jr's decision. If Jr. goes anywhere else but Milwaukee, Sr. is out.
11.Detroit Mercy Titans- What happened here? Posters of this League were really looking forward to Coach Davis taking this team to the next level and moving past the debacle of Bacari Alexander. Davis' seat is beginning to heat up.
12.IUPUI Jaguars- Byron Rimm is still coach of IUPUI because a hiring freeze was initiated throughout the Indiana University system. He is a lame duck coach and will be gone after next season.
