The Valley agrees to an extension with CBS to continue airing their Championship game and 8 other games over the CBS Network and CBS Sportnetwork through 2024, while the HL is stuck with ESPN 3, er I mean, ESPN+ for $5. In the words of the late and great John Wayne, "This is 'rigoddamndiculous'"! MVC Extends CBS TV Contract

Heard on today's local radio sports program ( WING in the Dayton area ) that the A-10 has signed a new multi-year deal with ESPN to let ESPN+ be the exclusive stream for most sports contests. Had better luck watching things on the computer thru A-10 programming than ever with ESPN3. Not sure if this changes anything ( WSU stopped playing them in men's and women's basketball but, I watch some of the other sports when the schools play ).
Personally, I wouldn't lose any sleep if I had to give up ESPN. There is no way I would sign up and pay them for ESPN+. For baseball I have followed STATS...for basketball ( if I am not at a game ) I will listen to the radio.

I don't know how any of this stuff will work out, but I'm fed up with ESPN. I refused to pony up the $5 to watch the remainder of the baseball season. I would love to watch the basketball games this upcoming season, but only if the HL gets a nice contract and money is put into the production aspect of the broadcasts.
