With the departure of UIC, the Horizon League will be down to just six members for each of these sports (Cleveland St., Green Bay, IUPUI, NKU, Oakland and Youngstown. Right at the minimum number maintain NCAA conference eligibility.
An affiliate membership would be in the best interest of all parties and give the HL a chance to get to know this newest D1 school.
