It looks to be a two-horse race between NKU and Oakland, with Milwaukee being the Dark House. If Oakland could ever get a healthy team on the court, they could take at least the regular season crown. We all know how the HL Tourney goes for them! Having said that, I think Motor City Madness is perfect for NKU..

I believe they will get better as the season goes on. |

1. NKU 7-5 (77th)
2. Oakland 6-5 (121st)
3. Milwaukee 7-5 (168th)
4. Wright State 7-5 (192nd)
5. UIC 4-7 (207th)
6. IUPUI 2-8 (272nd)
7. Cleveland State 3-7 (283rd)
8. Green Bay 5-6 (296th)
9. Detroit 4-8 (302nd)
10 Youngstown State 2-9 (329th)
Surprisingly NKU jumped up after their loss to Texas A&M. I believe part of the reason is because Kenpom factors teams statistical profile and Texas A&M shot very poorly in the game which boosted our defensive metrics. While NKU did play good defense I would still take this ranking with a grain of salt. Milwaukee and Wright State are hanging around as solid threats in the conference. I could easily see them picking up wins over Oakland and NKU in conference games.
